WEARHEADPHONE FOR V&A

2005

Journalist and design critic Henrietta Thomson curated an exhibition at London’s V&A exploring designers responses to technologies designed to aid the hard of hearing. Hulger created the WearHeadPhone, a design concept that turned the invisible hearing aid into a huge pair of cans, packed with sound technology.

The headphones could produce rich 3D sound for enjoying movies with friends and featured a Bluetooth badge that friends could wear in noisy environments to get the best local sound quality possible from those in conversation with the wearer.
